Peter McCallum (Founder)
Peter has 20 years experience in the IT industry, the last
13 of which he has worked exclusively in business intelligence (BI) and data
warehousing. Peter has broad industry experience having designed and implemented BI
solutions for the telecommunications, tourism & travel, retail, finance and
manufacturing sectors in New Zealand, Australia and the USA.
Peter specialises in providing business intelligence
consulting and research services including BI strategy development, project scoping,
project management, BI architecture, design, analysis and development.
Peter has a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Waikato and a Master
of Commerce from the University of Auckland. In 2004 he was awarded a Bright Futures
Enterprise scholarship for his research on the Determinants of Data Warehousing Benefit
Realisation. He is an IBM certified BI Solutions Specialist, Microsoft certified DBA
and in 2002 was instrumental in Unisys NZ gaining gold certification status in Microsoft's
BI partner program.
Gavin Magill (Associate)
Gavin is a specialist ETL Developer. He is vastly experienced and widely recognised
as one of New Zealand's most knowledgeable Datastage developers. Gavin has also developed and implemented large scale data warehouses using Wherescape Red, and is comfortable working with any relational database system including Oracle, Teradata & Microsoft SQL Server.
Gavin has worked extensively in the forestry, telecommunications and direct marketing industries.
Phil Haynes (Associate)
Phil brings a wealth of ETL and shell script development experience to any project he works on. Phil has developed enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using Wherescape Red and IBM's Datastage. Phil is also extremely technically adept and where necessary has coded solutions to complex problems using unix shell scripts, perl, Java and Microsfot VBS. Phil is comfortable working with any relational database system including Oracle, Teradata & Microsoft SQL Server.
Phil has worked in the retail, telecommunications and banking industries.
Madeleine Grayson (Associate)
Madeleine has over 10 years IT experience, working primarily as a Senior Business
Analyst and Project Lead. She has detailed business knowledge of the travel industry, and
customer loyalty programs in particular. She has also worked in the health, finance and
telecommunications sectors.
Madeleine specialises in understanding how technology solutions can be applied to
business problems. In addition to possessing excellent interpersonal, business analysis
& data analysis skills she is adept at using a wide range of reporting and analysis
tools including Hyperion Designer, Oracle Discoverer, Crystal Reports and Microsoft
Access.
Madeleine has a Master of Arts (1st Class Hons) from the University of Auckland.
Jared Smith (Associate)
Jared has 8 years experience delivering business intelligence solutions. He is particuarly accomplished in the development of management and key performance indicator (KPI) reports. Jared has worked across a wide range of business sectors including the manufacturing, distribution, finance and telecommunications industries.
Jared has a Bachelor of Business from the Auckland University of Technology, with a double major in Information Technology and Marketing. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and is a certified Hyperion Intelligence developer.
