Churn Propensity Model Operationalization for NZ Telco
A large NZ telecommunications organization had developed a churn propensity model to identify those customers at risk of leaving in the near future. The model was proving effective. However, the process involved in running the model each month was both time-consuming and resource intensive. To address these issues, CBI developed operational processes to automate the data preparation steps involved in running the churn propensity model. This not only reduced the ongoing operational costs of running the model, it also increased the "freshness" and actionability of the generated churn propensity scores.  The solution was designed and developed using Teradata and SPSS Clementine.

 

Customer Call Optimisation Application for NZ Telco
In order to target the right prospects for a new product offering a large NZ telecommunications company had to analyse the calling behaviour of its existing customer base.  By using a call optimisation application the organisation was able to target only those customers likely to take up the new product, thereby saving money, and improving the customer experience.  The business intelligence solution was designed and developed using RedBrick and Hyperion Intelligent Designer.

 

Intelligent Expense Analysis module for NZ Travel Operator
In order to improve the efficiency of how expense claims from partner companies were validated, an intelligent expense analysis and reconciliation module was implemented.  The analysis and reconciliation module used data already held in the organisation's data warehouse to either automatically accept to reject partner's expense claims, thereby resulting in significant time and monetary savings.  The solution was developed using Oracle, Informatica Powercenter, and Hyperion Intelligent Designer.

 

KPI Scorecard for NZ Retailer
A business intelligence solution that automated the monthly production of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) allowed this large national NZ retailer to successfully implement an incentive scheme that lifted the performance of its stores and resulted in a substantial improvement to the company's bottom line.  The BI solution was developed using Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Analysis Services, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office.
